Although happy knowing the Walton House from the show actually exists, I truly wish it could be as it once was and as we all remember it. The house itself captures fond memories of every episode and it seems a shame for it to be hidden away on this Warner lot. Let's recreate everything down to the last detail from the show! The cars, the mill, the inside of the house(upstairs & down) heck even the attic! It might sound like I'm getting carried away, but I can imagine giving fans of the show a REAL Walton experience visiting such a place. I seriously believe people would flock to such a tourist attraction if it existed, simply to feel and touch and maybe even taste what the 'Waltons" gave us as viewers.

Stage 16 was also the location where interior filming was completed for the Perfect Storm. A full scale replica of the Andrea Gail was placed on a large gimbal in the middle of a huge wave making pool for the action scenes at sea. The entire, massive set was surrounded by an even larger blue screen for compositing.

The church was rebuilt many years ago and moved to the rear of the lot (you can see the shadow of the steeple on the parking lot). A house was built on the former church location, across the street from the Bewitched house. It was re-modeled in 2009 for "the Middle" TV series exteriors.

STUDIO 4 was used for Elvis Presley's 1968 Comeback special. 40 million Americans watched the show, which was originally intended as a Christmas special. But it became a showcase of Elvis' indelible music and stage performance. The program won a Peabody Award and put Elvis back in to live performances after almost a decade of making movies.
